Vision To build strong Christian marriages by equipping, mentoring, and sharing God’s truth about marriages in a practical, useful manner. Goal Our goal is to learn what a real Christian marriage is and what it can become when we follow God’s leading in developing our relationship with our spouse. We are out to have fun and fellowship as we grow together in our marriages. “Touch” Teams The purpose of the “Touch” Teams is to reach out and touch others by providing a means of bringing couples together to learn, to worship, to fellowship, and to have fun as we grow and mature as married couples. If you are interested in joining the ministry and being a part of our "Touch" Teams, here are some brief descriptions of each team: Communications: Development of brochures, newsletter, contact information and coordinating between other ministries in the church such as the military families, Sunday schools, nursery, and our men’s and women’s ministry. Special Events: Marriage Emphasis Month, retreats, conferences, and seminars. Social Activities: Plan and develop marriage mixers, lunches/breakfast meetings, baby showers, progressive dinners, game night, Husband’s day/night out, Wives’ day/night out, family outings, couples only outings, and other fun activities. Sunday School Class: Assist in planning for our Sunday School such as decorating the Sunday School classroom, birthdays/anniversaries, treats/goodies/coffee, and the "Marriage Alive!" library. Research and Resources: Researching marriage websites and other sources for reference materials for the ministry and for couples such as the latest books on marriage, local conferences and marriage events, trends/statistics on marriage, and current topics in the Christian marriage world.
